Question About Eureka Vacuum Cleaner 5890-5909
vacuum hose...

on the eureka 5890, does the hose have to be locked in place at the hose retainer # 15 on the owner's manual or should it be able to be slid out. Wiith it in place, it is hard to reach very far from the vacuum to dust the floor and imposible to reach ceiling corners.
