0 On another site a repairman suggested looking for arrows to screws to remove the cover to the brush . There were no arrows on my vacuum but there was a diagram underneath all the dust. My husband saw snaps to remove the metal hood and followed the diagram.The belt was really stiff though. and not easy to put on. While he held the vaccuum upside down with his knees,I held the belt. He took a regular,nonserated kitchen knife and stretched the belt enough to install it.Voila!
