5 On the thermostat you must have the bottom switched to HEAT and the top fan should be on to push the heat out. Then if it does not "kick" on just turn the temperature to the highest like 90 degrees. Then it should come on. If not your furnace may need to be re-lit so call your local heating/cooling company.
