I believe the belt on my vacum clearer has broken but I am finding it hard to remove the casing to find out, can you assist please

0 On my machine the top casing is held on by two phillips-headed screws located underneath the machine down two deep (20mm) holes. These holes are marked by embossed screwdriver and screw pictures
