The Model 1739 triple brush shampooer-scrubber was manufactured by Electrolux Corporation from 1993-94.  The company is now called Aerus LLC, and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas with store locations throughout the USA and Canada.  To obtain a free electronic copy of the current model's manual which mainly differs from yours in that it does not have a cord winder kindly go to aerusvacuums.com, click on the Support tab, select the Download Manuals hyperlink, choose Lux Floor Pro from the Current Models menu, and click Download.  Regards.
