The Epic Series Model 1739 triple brush shampooer-scrubber was manufactured by Aerus LLC from 1993-94.  The company is headquartered in Dallas, Texas with store locations throughout the USA and Canada.  Contact an Aerus associate regarding your motor inquiry by visiting aerusvacuums.com.  You may also wish to obtain a free electronic copy of the current model's manual.  To do so click on the Support tab, select the Download Manuals hyperlink, choose Lux Floor Pro from the Current Models menu, and click Download.  Regards.
