Using the remote control of the system is to keep it pointed upright to the middle of the receiver indoor unit, turning the torchlight bulb-like pointer facing the internal control host, that the signal may reach the receiver of the indoor unit. The remote control should be held at a maximum distance of 8mis otherwise; the signal will not be received and the system will never on. The simplest way to be sure that the remote control signal has contacted with the receiver of the indoor unit is to watch out for flickering symbol on the display. That is how to solve the said problem.
