5 It's easy to do. UNPLUG IT! 1.Remove 2 Phillips head screws on the back side top corner left and right 2. Lay the heater on its back flame side up 3. Open door remove 2 screws left and right up under the hang over ledge on the top piece 4. Gently stand the unit upright and shimmy the top off 5. READ STEP 6 first.. Look down to the bottom and you will see the bulb 6. There is a little Halo springy thing on the tip of the bulb use your finger to gently pop it over. 7. Replace bulb with a 120v/40w bulb. The screw part in is the one that is about the diameter of a pencil 8. Put the halo back on then the top reaplace screws. 9. Clean the air intake on the back with a damp cloth.
