i keep getting a p error code. just wondering what's wrong with it. i've tried doing the troubleshooting steps and noting works. I get the code on start up and then i have to reset it and by the second or third time it starts.

5 p code is press. switch. open left access door & locate hose on top of the exhaust blower. disconnect hose & blow through it to clear obstruction. re-install hose. this should clear p code. hope this helped. cheers, Tom

2 Your pellet stove is not venting properly on start up. There is a sensor that checks the pressure in your vent. If there is negative pressure it shuts off. After two or three times the fan has started pushing against that pressure and gets a bit of a draft going, the sensor senses it and continues starting up.

0 I had the same problem, I cleaned the blower fan, cleared the pressure switch air tube, cleaned the pressure switch nozzle, but nothing worked. I then thought "if it has to do with venting and exhausting, perhaps the chimney is the issue". Sure enough, the chimney was clogged. After cleaning the chimney, the stove runs fine now.
