I have a Dirt Devil CLASSIC 10 Ampere upright vacu...

I have a Dirt Devil CLASSIC 10 Ampere upright vacuum cleaner. It has very little suction anymore. The hoses are clean of debris, the bag is new and the drive belt is new. Is this already scrap, or are there some troubleshooting suggestions available???...not impressed with Dirt Devil if it's punched/inoperable already. Thanks either way..
