Changing light bulbs...

I cant seem to get into my Dimplex CHT20 fire to replace the fire glow bulbs which have recently blown. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

1 I have an Dimplex ADG20 and am having the same problem as the person with the Dimplex CHT20 - I can't get into it to replace the bulbs. The manual states that the fuel effect cover simply lifts off, but it doesn't. What do I do?
