I am receiving an Error Code 01 on the control unit of the water softener and obviously it is not regenerating. I tried to diagnose the issue based on the possible causes the manual said it could be a result of. In addition there is a slight leakage of water when the unit attempts to go through the regeneration cycle. When I ran a magnet by the position switch I got no reading. Would a position switch going bad be the cause of this issue? Or does the leakage indicate something else? Please help
