Question About Desa Indoor Fireplace HDCFTP, HDCFTN, CGCFTP, CGCFTN
LP not natural gas...

HDCFTP- I bought this fireplace to install in my basement at HomeDepot- I already stained it and had a natural gas line ran over professionally- and now just realized that the guy at Home Depot did not know what he was selling me as this is for use with propane- is there a way that I can convert this over to Natural Gas- I really would like to get this fixed as soon as possible- Please contact me at any time at (513)779-3263 home or (513_593-4550 cell Sincerely, Christi Schorr

5 Yes you can. Gut the entire encasement and reinstall gas elements. lol! Did you really buy this from Home Depot? Doesn't sound like a mistake they would make. You can try to connect the gas line but would certainly blow the roof off your house! Go get a real gas fireplace & don't buy from second-hand store in the future. Brains need to be used here...
