I have borrowed a dehum'er owner doesn't know how ...

I have borrowed a dehum'er owner doesn't know how to use it! and there is no manual. Have used my commonsence, as it looks straight forward....but cant get to work.... just need basic instructions, please for switch on and to use as a dehumidifier. Thank you
