Question About Danby Dehumidifier DDR5009REE
compressor does not come on - no humidity collecte...

compressor does not come on - no humidity collected in the collector pan, the front panel controls work, fuse ok, 120v at the compressor terminal drops to zero when the power is turned on, the overtemp switch works fine on the compressor -could this be a leakage problem of the startup capacitor to the compressor? what else? thanks
