Have a Simplicity SPAC 5088 portable air condition...

Have a Simplicity SPAC 5088 portable air conditioner. It is showing a P1 error code, and a little symbol in teh top right, that looks a little like a bed, to teh immediate right of the Fahrenheit button, is lit. What to do, please?
