0 I thought I would need a manual too because the installation looked pretty complex and the ones available online for the DW 500 series were not the same as for the model described above. I had trouble trying to install because I tried using those manuals. In reality, the DWC-058RL was easier. no need to remove the external frame from the chassis. I looked up "window air conditioner installation" on You Tube and found a tutorial that was so simple, I felt silly. (yes, I am a girl) And I was able to pop it in and up and running it went! There are hundreds of tutorials. Find one that works for your specific question. As far as installation, they are all pretty much the same.
