Question About Craftsman Garage Door Opener 139.53636SRT
Worn out drive gear....

After 14 short years, the drive gear that meets the motor worm drive has worn through the teeth. This is part number 41A2617. Is this worth replacing or would it be more cost effective to replace the unit.
