WON'T WORK WITH REMOTE...

I HAVE 2 CRAFTSMAN GARAGE DOOR OPENER , IT WON'T WORK WITH "CLICKER" REMOTE CONTROL , CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THE PROBLEM IS , I FALLOW THE INSTRUCTION TO HOLD MEMORIZE SWITCH , BUT THE GREEN LIGHT NEVER FLASH , IT DON'T MEMORY.
