Question About Craftsman Garage Door Opener None
Will not close with remote...

Opener opens but will not close unless I hold down the inside mounted receiver.

0 I have the same problem w/remotes at the same time! the woman next door also, everyone wants to come out and look @95.00

0 If the door closes by holding the wall button but not by the remote - it is usally the sensors. Make sure both lights are on, if one is flashing or out - you need to realign them with a level or a good eye. My company will help troubleshoot by phone before charging the service call to come out so just call if you are in the St. Louis & surrounding area or see if there are family owned Garage Companies in your area, we understand that no one wants to pay for a 3 minute fix alot better than the big guys! :)
