Question About Craftsman Garage Door Opener 139.18875
The chain has been disconnected from the sprocket....

The chain has been disconnected from the sprocket. When the control button is pressed the sprocket turns a couple of revelations and then reverses a couple of revolutions. The sensors lights are lit up. The voltage between term 1 and 2 is 18 V and between 2 & 3 is 6V. Why will it not rotate till the limits are made?
