Resetting garage door opener...

I have a realy old garage door opener model # 139.18778. I am looking for steps on how to reset it . The remote does not open the door

5 Good Morning, by any change did you find the manual. We just moved into a house with the same model # but we don't know the code on the pad outside and I would like to reset it.
