0 In the cold weather, my garage door will NOT close, (unless I continuously hold down the hard-wired wall mounted button), however there is not a problem with it OPENING. I've increased and adjusted the pressure dial for DOWNWARD pressure on the opener, but the door will initially start a downward movement for 1/2 second and then reverse and continue to OPEN fully. By using the remote control from my car, I am unable to close the door even when continuously holding down the button.
