I have a 1/2 HP craftsman garage door opener that does not close when operated by the remote (it only opens). To close the door, I need to push and hold the wall switch and wait till the door completely closes, else it reverses. Also when I try to close by pressing the wall switch once, I hear a lot of clicking sounds (~10) from the opener overhead. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
