I am in a rental house and I believe an old roomma...

I am in a rental house and I believe an old roommate still has a remote. I bought a new remote, but i want to reprogram the door so he can't use his remote. I don't have the instructions, all i know is that it is a craftsman 1/2 unit. I would like to know how to reprogram the unit. I know how to do the clickers.
