How to find correct remote for old garage door opener...

We have an old craftsman garage door opener model 139655000 and have never had a remote opener. Which type would work with our garage door?

0 I have the same opener and I started looking for another remote last week. Sears nolonger sells them. It was made in 1978 and has 9 toggle switches and is I think 390 mhz. freq. Please look in your manual and tell me what the frequency is. With this info you should be able to buy a new one.

0 I found out you can not just replace the remote. You have replace the receiver and the remote. A liftmaster 365 lm- it will work I'm told.
