5 There should be a button on top of the garage door opener (the motor). Holding this button down for several seconds will make the lights start blinking. While the lights are blinking, enter the new code that you have chosen on the keypad and press "enter". You may have to remove the cover from one of the lights on the motor to find the button. There should be instructions there too.
