How do I program the lock feature of the 3 button remote?...

I have a 2 button vehicle remote and the "lock" button is programmed to open the door instead of locking the door. The lock button is properly programmed on wall-mounted remote. How can I re-program the lock button on the vehicle remote to do what it's meant to do? Thanks in advance...
