The GDO partially operates spastically. It's best is it will open half way and shut off. It might or might not close fully from the half open position. After some extended cold weather, one wonders if it needs lubrication or maintenance, ergo, the need for a manual. This opener is on a church missionary house that is not occupied full time nor does any one rememver the GDO installation.
