Question About Craftsman Garage Door Opener 139.53600
garage door operner...

I put a new drive gear in and now it will not reverse; motor hums. I assume limit adjustments are off. I can not locate trouble shooting manual.

0 Traveler was jamed. Chain was not on the sprocket correctly. I took the chain off the drive sprocket, ran the motor till it stopped in the down position. Conected traveler to the door bracket which placed the chain at the correct place on the sprocket. Retightened the cable to chain coupler and problem solved.
