Question About Craftsman Garage Door Opener 139.53962 SRT
garage door opener will go down with remote but wont go up...

My garage door (when using any of the remotes) will only go down, and only stops when (1) I interrupt the safety sensor (does not go up, just stops) or (2)goes down as far as the garage floor will let it (and tries to go farther). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

0 mine too! my door only goes down and after it hits the floor, it keeps going. Larry - were you able to fix this? The opener will break for sure if this keeps happening

0 I ended up replacing the garage door opener. I replaced it with another craftsman chain drive model.
