garage door goes up about 2 inches and stops. Spring in NOT broken or loose. could a loose chain cause this problem?

5 Mine does the same thing. The seal at the bottom of door sticks to floor after extended periods of being closed. Causing the safety feature built into unit to stop after sensing tension. Try pulling release cord and manually opening garage door this way you can measure the tension. After cleaning the rubber seal it should stop. Travis
