Door only lifts up several inches, stops, lowers i...

Door only lifts up several inches, stops, lowers itself back down. Won't raise higher than 1/2 a foot. Werent having this problem the other day. Just started doing it.

5 Make sure the sensors are aligned. Most garage doors have two sensors on the side and if the lights are blinking then they are not aligned. It usually takes just a little wiggle for them to realign although if it's really off you may need a screwdriver to loosen the screw to readjust it.
