The garage door closes, but won't stay down...it opens up again!!

0 Garage door will not stay down if I stop it just before closed the cable is as tight as a guitar string, the rail is bowed, and the cain hangs down 4-5 inches Is there a way to adjust the travel. I can not get adjusted with sensitivity switches
