Question About Craftsman Garage Door Opener 139.53325SRT
139.53325SRT only wants to work one way....

I had to take apart my garage door opener to swap out the drive gear, and it only seems to move in one direction now. It will start to move in the other direction, but it will only move that way for about an eighth of a turn, stop, and then go back the other way. Does anyone know why this might be?

0 Im having same issue, also replaced drive and worm gear......my led light flashes 5 times the manual online says i may need a rpm sensor assembly.....is your light flashing?
