Question About Control4 Thermostat Wireless Thermostat

Can you send me the proper wiring instructions for wiring this Control4 thermostas to Lennox system transformer? I wired both my zone units but both standby batteries (CR-123) drained in 3 months. Is this normal? Am I missing a grd or something ? Thanks.
