I have an indoor fireplace which stopped functioning ( pilot light went out) . I can relight the pilot light but cannot turn the knob to the "on" position without the pilot light going off. Tried several times with the fireplace thermostat on max but to no avail. What else can I try or does a part have to be replaced.
