0 1-Turn thermostat to lowest setting 2-Depress gas cockdial wait 10 minutes before proceeding 3-Open lighter door 4-Turn dial to "pilot"depress and light pilot hold for 1 minute / untill pilot stays lit. turn dial to "on" position 5-Close lighter door 6-Set thermostat to desired tempreture 7-If pilot goes out wait 10 minutes and repeat steps 1 thru 6.
