My pilot light went out and I can't get it lit aga...

My pilot light went out and I can't get it lit again. I've been holding in the button for up to 5 minutes but everytime I let go of the button the pilot light shuts off. There is no information in the manual regarding this problem.

0 I have this manual at home, however, it does not have any information as to how to re-light the pilot. I have done this before, but for some reason the pilot light does not stay lit when I release the pilot button. Can any one help me with this?
