Question About CFM Corporation Indoor Fireplace HEF22
HEF22 electric fireplace...

the flame does not work!! the light comes on, and no flickering flame. the damn thing is not even 3yrs old yet

1 DC Motors that make the flame work can be obtained at - I Buy Fireplace Parts - (1-888-634-4289), ask for Mario Extn. 210. I confirmed this with him and he is more than glad to help. Maybe they have other parts for CFM product? They've sold a lot of these motors. Good Luck!

0 took it to a small motor repair man, he said that it was the cheapest set-up he ever saw. there was nothing he could do.

0 Ours is 20 years old but that does not make me feel any better. My understanding is that this flame detection system is no longer being made. I find it hard to believe as the same system is used on hot water tanks, furnaces etc. Go figure.
