Model HEE26, fireplace heater not blowing hot air. Air is cool when on. How do I fix it?

1 Hi, My electrical fireplace is not blowing hot air, it does turn on and it blows hot air for a minute and then it stops, it is still on but not blowing hot air. What is wrong? What can I do? Thank you very much. Val.

0 I am on my second fire place, my first one started doing the same thing yours is doing within 6 weeks. I called the number in the owners manual and the guy on the other end just told me he would send a new motor. When I took it apart (yes we have to do the maintenance) I saw that a wire was burnt in half. I called home Depoe and they said to return it. I returned it and the same thing happened with the second one. I then asked an electrician to come in and beef it up and he told me that these are very poorly built. Now I think the motor on my rotiserie has stopped and has been for quite some time, but the numbers have been disconnected that had been listed on the manual and I am relying on this websight for help. I have no idea where I could get a new motor to run the aluminum strip to make it look like flames. Hope this helps, an electrician is not cheap, but I'm not sure you have any other alternatives.
