Question About Vermont Casting Indoor Fireplace UVLX24RN
Pilot light will not stay lit...

It sounds like thermocouple but when I short the 2 terminals that the thermocouple wires go to the light will still not stay lit. Does the thermocouple close a contact to keep the pilot light on or does it dropout to keep it on? Or do I have another problem?
