I have a VCEF26 Vermont Casting fireplace in my Park Model Trailer. The fireplace will not turn on using the remote. I have changed the batteries and still does not work. It does turn on when I remove the glass and press the buttons on the fireplace. Do you think it is the remote or the sensor on the fireplace?
