Question About Vermont Casting Indoor Fireplace UVLC24RP
gas won't stay on...

I follow the lighting instructions, the pilot light is on, when I turn the knob to on, the pilot light goes out. Is there a battery that controls the valve? I put new batteries in the remote controller box. Thanks for any help, Fred
