Question About Carrier Heat Pump 50XT

Im having a problem with 50xt heatpump infinity the problem is. It is running in cooling an also with heat strips at the same time when your asking for heat ido not hear the reversing valve changing theres two control boards on this unit can you help me narrow down this problem. Thanks for any insigths on this problem.
