My blower continues to run after the thermostat ha...

My blower continues to run after the thermostat has been satisfied. Fan is set to auto on thermostat. Replaced the limit switch, 36T01B3 L250-40 but didn't solve the problem. Furnace is Carrier 58GP100-2 Series 211 Serial Y2A39318 manufactured in 1980. What is the next step in solving the problem? Thanks
