Question About Carrier Air Conditioner Remote Airco R11HG/E
Forgot to change batteries in remote for about 1 y...

Forgot to change batteries in remote for about 1 year so they where empty. Now i put in new batteries, every segment of display lights up and goes out again after 1 second. Then nothing on display and no button reacts. Also tried another pair of new batteriees but same result. Think Remote is killed ? Thanks in advance , Peter
