I want to use model PVG5ANI-G5 power vent model. We want to run a vent ,vertically from the basement through the first floor, running, inside the wall and then vent out the side of the house about 10 feet above the ground. We are being told this can't be done because the pipe will get too hot inside the wall. Other people have said it can be done. So can it be done and how? Can the pipe running through the wall be insulated with an insulation dam or a double pipe?
