i have the water shut off to the boiler, as well as the power. I see the drain valve, but i am unsure if removing the water could damage and element or other part of the system. If it is as simple as opening the valve till the water is out, wonderful i can handle that, but it usually is more complicated than that. So im trying to be cautious before i ruin my 5 year boiler.
