Replace the lighting element. check all connection, ohms all switches & wiring, fuses. what do I do now

0 I am assuming your ignitor is not staying lit? If so..where it connects to the circuit board usually located in the fan housing (compartment below)...unplug it off the board (usually labeled "IGN" or "HSI"). Now take a voltmeter and connect one prong...usually the red...to this connection and touch the other one to a ground (usually the metal box where the high voltage enters the furnace).

0 Watch this after resetting the on and off switch...if it stays at 115v to 120v...it's your ignitor...if it drops to zero after a few seconds..it's your circuit board..replace it

0 Sorry about repeats..this site not good at letting you know it's submitted! My mistake. Touch the red prong to the board labeled IGN or HSI...not the wire from the ignitor..and don't touch any metal with your body
